Mountain Excitement
Even if skiing and riding is old hat, there is always room for improvement. Our Mountain Excitement Program will help you improve your form and increase your confidence while exploring the entire mountain. The Mountain Excitement package includes:
- a Prime Time lift ticket
- a one-hour group lesson
- ski or snowboard equipment rental for the day. Please Note: The Mountain Excitement Package includes Skis or Snowboard, Boots, & Poles (skiers only)...there is an additional charge for Helmet rentals.
Mountain Excitement is for Blue Square and Black Diamond skiers and riders, ages 6 years and older.
Mountain Excitement is offered as a one-day or two-day program. The two-day program can be used on any 2 days during the current season, but must be completed by the close of the season.
- Mountain Excitement lessons are offered each day of the season.
- Sign up is in the Welcome Center on a first come, first served basis.
- Lesson times are 10AM, noon and 2PM; and in the evenings at 4:30, 5:30 and 6:30PM. Availability may vary based on demand. Plan to arrive at least one hour prior to the start of your desired lesson time so you can be on the hill ready to meet your instructor at the scheduled start time.

Mountain Excitement group lessons are available for $35 for those that already have equipment and don't need a lift ticket.
Private lessons are available for those that prefer a one on one learning style. Your Mountain Excitement program can be upgraded to include a private lesson for an additional $30 per day. Reservations are recommended for private lessons. Call Guest Services at 603-293-4341 extension 0 and ask to reserve a lesson time for a Mountain Excitement Private Upgrade.
When you complete the two-day program, your Mountain Excitement card will entitle you to:
- 50% discount on Prime Time or Night lift tickets for the remainder of the current season.
- 15% discount in the Mountainside Outfitters Retail and Demo Center for the remainder of the current season .
- $15 savings on a helmet purchase at the Mountainside Outfitters Retail and Demo Center during the current season.
