Preschool Powder Hounds Program

Ages 3-6

This 6-week program for children 3-6 years offers a fun environment to begin a lifetime of skiing or continue the fun and learning for young skiers.

Mommy/Daddy & Me Program

This 6-week program allows children skiing for the first time and a parent (lower mountain skier or better) to experience the thrill of the first time on skis together.

Session Times:

Morning and afternoon sessions follow the same schedule as Preschool Powder Hounds Program listed above.

Cost: $199 (Parent and Child)

These 8-week programs are just the thing for children skiing or riding on lower mountain terrain (easy blue square trails).

Mountain Masher I (Skiers Only)

Ages 5-7

Mountain Masher I begins Saturday, December 15, 2007 and meets each Saturday for 8 weeks.

Clinic Times: 8:30am-10am with free time on the hill from 10am-12 noon. OR 10am-11:30pm with free time on the hill from 11:30am-1:30pm.

Mountain Masher II (Skiers and Riders)

Ages 8-12

Mountain Masher II begins Saturday December 15, 2007 and meets each Saturday for 8 weeks. Clinic Times: 1:30pm-3:00pm with free time on the hill from 11:30am-1:30pm.

Tickets and waiver processing will take place the first day of your program at the Learning Center desk in the Welcome Center.

Gunstock 5-Week Development Programs Ski, Snowboard, Freestyle - Park & Pipe Ages 6-99 Gunstock’s 5-week Programs — A fun and flexible learning experience for the WHOLE FAMILY! Participate in 5 out of 7 weeks on Saturday afternoon or Sunday morning. Session Times: Sessions begin on Saturday, January 5, 2008 Saturday 12pm-4pm w/lessons at 12:00pm-1:30pm OR Sunday, January 6, 2008 Sunday 8:30am-12:30pm w/lessons at 10am-11:30am Participant is required to attend the first two sessions, pick three of the remaining five to complete your program. Cost: $175 Discounted Belknap County Price: $155 Rental Equipment for the 5-week program: Skis: $85 Snowboard: $85 Purchase 5 Week Development Program Online Race Programs Spend 5 weeks working with USSCA coaches’ intent on making you SKI FASTER! Due to the heavy race schedule at Gunstock there may be some adjustments made to the 5-week race program. These changes will be announced during the first two sessions and/or in advance of their occurrence. Session Times: Saturday: 12-4pm w/coaching at 12:00pm-1:30pm Sunday: 8:30-12:30 w/coaching at 10:00am-11:30am. Skiers must make parallel turns on Blue Square terrain. Masters 8 Weeks of race training with USSCA coaches will gain new or enhance skills. Slalom training on Tuesdays, and Giant Slalom training on Thursdays. Training Begins Tuesday January 8, 2007.

Women’s Programs

Women’s Only Wednesday

This six week woman’s ski & ride program is designed for women of all abilities to work with some of the best female coaches in the industry. Sessions begin on January 2, 2008.

Lesson Time: 9:30am - 11:30am, w/free ski until 12:30pm.

Cost: $40 per week or purchase the entire 6-week block for $200.

Ladies Only

When everyone else is heading to the lodge a limited number of women skiers & riders will spend an hour with one of the Learning Centers Female coaches. Enhance skills, conquer a particular fear, get equipment advice, and gain confidence in a wonderful learning environment. Saturday, 2 PM. 6 to 1 ratio. Sign up at the Welcome Center on a weekly basis.

Cost: $35 per clinic.

Experience Levels

Mountain Magic - approriate for first time skiers and riders ONLY

Mountain Adventure - Appropriate for guests who have been on snow before up through those comfortable on Green Cirecle (easiest) or Blue Square (more difficult terrain in most conditions.

Mountain Excitement - Appropriate for guests who are comfortable on Blue Square (more difficult) or Black Diamond (most difficult) terrain in most conditions.

Refund Policy: A letter of credit will be issued on a pro-rated basis in the case of a documented illness/injury.
