Warrior Dash Hits NewHampshire as Part of International Tour for 2012
GILFORD, NH (December 19, 2011) - Warrior Dash isthe ultimate event for thrill-seeking athletes and party-goers. On Saturday, September15, 2012, fearless runners will head to GunstockMountain Resortto take on 12 “bigger andbadder” obstacles over 3.21 miles of extreme terrain. After conquering aninsane physical challenge, racers celebrate with friends and family during anall day festival with live music, food and beer.
In 2011, overhalf a million athletes turned to Warrior Dash as an alternative to the classicrunning race. Participants can expect new extremes for 2012, as Warrior Dashreturns with a vengeance debuting bigger and more innovative obstacles thanever before. The festival area will be the scene of greater celebrations with morefood, drinks and post-race activities.
“Warrior Dashis an event that competitors and spectators will never forget and thecombination of mud, sweat and beer keeps people coming back each year formore!” Race Director Alex Yount says.
Warrior Dashis partnered with GreenSneakers, an organization with a uniquely effective andenvironmentally friendly fundraising opportunity. With the help of Warriors,370,000 pounds of tennis shoes were donated and given a second chance at lifein 2011.
Warrior Dashparticipants requested “The craziest frickin’ day of your life” and Red FrogEvents, a Chicago-based company, has answered their Warrior cries with 65Warrior Dash locations for 2012 in the United States, Australia, Canada andEurope.
