Snowshoeing

Discovering snowshoeing at the Gunstock Snowshoe Park and see why we are the leader in snowshoeing trails and activities. With over 50 km of trails you can explore rolling double track to secluded wooded single track along babbling brooks that lead to epic views of Lake Winnipesaukee and even the White mountains.  The Nordic center can help you find your trail with detailed maps and suggest an adventure for you.  We have new 2012 Atlas model 10 snowshoes in all sizes to make your adventure one you won’t forget.  Our experienced staff also provides a wide range of tours and even a guided tour that uses the chair lift to get us higher and farther into the backcountry.

Guided  Tours:

Saturday Night Ridge Tour  Enjoy our one-of-a-kind snowshoe tour as we ride up the lift and snowshoe across Rowe’s Ridge and finish at the Gunstock Main Lodge.  Enjoy beautiful night views of Gunstock Ski area.  Every Saturday night at 6:30PM and by request with groups of 4 or more.  Fitness level easy to moderate. Reservation required.

Nature Tour  Explore on a gentle walk in the woods with one of our knowledgeable guides as they lead you on a nature adventure.  Experience local fauna, wildlife, and unique history of Gunstock Mountain Resort.  Every Saturday at 10:30 and by request with groups of 4 or more.  Fitness level easy. Reservation required.

Adventure Tour   Get ready for an adventure as our guides trek with you along deep secluded single track.  Experience a wilderness adventure as we climb and descend in the heart of New England Wilderness.  Snacks and drinks are provided. Fitness level moderate to more difficult.  Duration 3 to 3 ½ hrs.  By reservation only, 3 or more needed.
