Aerial Treetop Adventures

Built within the trees along Gunstock's pond, Aerial Treetop Adventure is New England's Largest Aerial Obstacle Course. Explore Gunstock from a bird's eye view.

91 different challenges are securely suspended within the trees in 8 courses, including the Explorer Course just for kids. Some of the features include log ladders, bridges, swings, seesaws, foot bridges and, of course, lots of zip lines.

Adult Aerial Treetop Adventure Course

The Adult Adventure begins with a training course where our Adventure Park Guides will show you how to use the equipment to ensure that you understand and can demonstrate that you can safely navigate the courses.  You begin on the Green course which is the easiest and has the lowest games, which are 10-15 feet off the ground.  Each course gets more challenging and the elevations get higher.  If you make it all the way through, you'll finish on the Black course where you will be upwards of 100 feet off the ground, crossing a 165 foot long, irregularly spaced foot bridge.

Participants on the Adult course must be:
  • at least 12 years old
  • able to reach 5 feet 11 inches (flat footed) with fingertips
  • under 250 lbs.
  • children 14 & 15 must have parent/guardian supervision either in the trees or on the ground.
  • children 12 & 13 must have parent/guardian supervision in the trees.
ATA Sunrise Pass

Use the Aerial Treetop Adventure Course as your morning workout during the 2016 Summer Season.  Join us from the first tour of the morning up to and including the 11AM tour for a fantastic Core and Full Body workout.  Each pass holder will participate in the course demonstration on the first visit and will be asked to demonstrate their knowledge of the safety protocols during subsequent visits throughout the season.  The ATA Sunrise Pass is valid only for the pass holder and is non-transferable.

Explorer Course - Just for Kids!

The Explorer course is for our younger, smaller participants. They will get to run through the course twice.  They'll also start with a safety demonstration on our training course.  There are 15 games in the Explorer course including an 80 foot zip line.  Game heights are 10-15 feet off the ground.  Adults can cheer on the kids from the ground.

Children should be:
  • ages 6 to 11
  • able to reach 4 feet 7 inches (flat footed) with fingertips

Please note: Closed toe and heel shoes or boots are RECOMMENDED. Open- toed shoes are NOT allowed.  Sturdy, closed-toe sport sandals with back straps are adequate.  The Gunstock Mountain Adventure Park Attraction Staff reserve the right to determine whether the apparel and/ or footwear are adequate for the chosen adventure.  Croc brand or similar footwear are not considered to be adequate.
