Your child's ski and snowboard adventure FUN starts here! Base Camp Children's Center has specifically designed programs for each age group. Full programs are offered for ages 3 and older. Make your child’s day just as fun filled as yours!
Full Day Program Schedule

March Radness includes Base Camp skis/boards and boots: they are complimentary with the purchase of a program from February 27th through the end of the season!!
Rental equipment is available for just $32 for skis/board and boots per session, $12 for helmets. Please indicate whether you will need rental equipment when making your reservation.

- Reservations must be made by 1pm on the day prior to your visit.

Camp 1- Full Day Program for Skiers age 3 years:
This program is based out of Day Care and includes a 1 hour group ski lesson in the morning to either introduce or enhance skiing skills through the use of games and skill building activities. After the lesson, the child will spend time warming up and playing inside at Day Care. Lunch is included with this full day program.
All children must be:
- 3 years old and willing to participate.
- fully potty trained - no diapers or pull-ups, please.
Camp 2- Full Day Program for Skiers ages 4 & 5 years:
Children will be on snow skiing in the morning and enjoy the daycare atmosphere during the afternoon. The two-hour group lesson is at 10AM. Lunch is included with this full day program.
Camp 3- Skiers ages 4 - 13 years; Snowboarders ages 6-13 years:
This popular ski or board program provides lots of on hill time with some of the best children's ski/board pros in the industry.
- Groups are formed by age and ability level to provide the best learning environment.
- Full Day - 9:15AM - 3PM - with group lessons in the morning and afternoon, lunch included.
Base Camp Children's Center Ability Levels
When making your child's reservation, please refer to this chart to help identify their ability level:
|Red: Never skied before OR unable to wedge/pizza to stop.|
|Orange: Working on turning and stopping.|
|Green: Able to change direction in wedge turns and stop. Can ride lift on Green terrain.|
|Blue: Linking turns and starting to match skis/french fries in Blue terrain.|
|Black: Finish turns in parallel position on all Blue and easy Black terrain.|
|Red: Never snowboarded before OR can only make single turns.|
|Orange: Working on heel side and toe side turns.|
|Green: Links skidded turns and stops.|
|Blue: Links skidded turns while keeping the upper body stiff on all Green and easy Blue terrain.|
|Black: Linking non-skidded turns on all Blue and easy Black terrain.|

Please note that your reservation is not considered cancelled until you have verification from Base Camp.
What should your child bring to Base Camp?
- Ski Jacket or Parka – warm and waterproof
- Ski Pants
- Warm Socks – wool or synthetic, multiple pairs
- Neck Warmer
- Waterproof Mittens or Gloves
- Helmets are recommended for safety and warmth
- Goggles or Sunglasses
- Sun Screen
Children are responsible for their own items. Please be sure to label all items are labeled.
Please note that Base Camp is a nut-free zone. This includes peanut butter.
We ask that one parent or guardian remain on the mountain while their child is participating in our program.
