Summer Story Ideas:

Gunstock Adventure Park - an adventure for everyone with a mountaintop ZipTour, Aerial Treetop Adventures, Scenic Chairift Rides and a Mountain Coaster. Guests can book their tickets for summer adventures online in advance and are reminded to plan ahead and book early.

The Gunstock Campground - offers basic- to full-hook-up sites. Ten new sites added this year bring the total to 260 sites. Two rustic cabins are available for those who want a camping experience but don't have a camper or gear. Campground amenities include miles of hiking and biking trails, a stocked fishing pond, a heated swimming pool, a playground and dog park. Visitors can plan an active day at Gunstock, visit area attractions or relax at their campsite and enjoy the natural setting with wooded and field sites available. As a bonus, campers receive a discount on Adventure Park activities during their stay.

Gunstock introduces a new trail running series this summer - Run the Mountain is a summer-long trail running series designed to meet runners where they are in skill and conditioning — and challenge them to see how far they can go. Each event, scheduled monthly during the summer, features a 5K trail run at Gunstock Mountain Resort, with courses inspired by the familiar ski-trail rating system: green circle (easy), blue square (intermediate), black diamond (difficult). This progression is intentional and welcoming. Whether they are new to trail running, returning after time away, or a seasoned mountain runner, runners will recognize that Run the Mountain is about progress, not perfection. Runners earn points throughout the summer toward a season-long series championship, but the real reward is building confidence, strength, and connection over time.

Winter Story Ideas:

Preserving the Mountain Experience - Gunstock limits the number of season passes sold each year and it limits the number of day lift tickets it sells each day during the winter to provide the best possible mountain resort experience it can for visiting guests. As a result, Gunstock's lift lines are not as long as other resorts on busy days, trails are not crowded, and the overall experience is better.

Action Sports/Terrain Park - Gunstock continues to work with consultants, Effective Edge, to enhance freestyle terrain. Methodology, CoreNation with Erik Leon, and other terrain park events return this winter.

Tubing: Outdoor adventurers who want a fun winter activity for the entire family should make their way to Gunstock's eight-lane tubing park with surface-lift access. The groomed tubing hill is fun for everyone.

Night Skiing - When most mountains in New Hampshire are closing for the day, Gunstock's Night Sessions are just getting started! Ski and ride under the lights on a variety of trails,

Learn-to-Ski Programs - “I learned to ski at Gunstock” is a phrase Gunstock staff hears a lot, especially from moms and dads who are bringing their children to learn to ski at Gunstock.

Racing - At Gunstock, numerous racing opportunities  are available for adults, students, and children. Gunstock offers ideal terrain for Alpine Racing and runs through the NASTAR course.

Snowshoe Ridge Tours - Gunstock has 30 trails that can be accessed for snowshoeing. It's the perfect outdoor activity for family members of all fitness ability levels to enjoy the beautiful winter scenery in winter.

New Hampshire College Pass - The multi-mountain college pass allows students to access Gunstock and three other New Hampshire mountains all season long! Those who purchase at Gunstock get exclusive benefits as a Pass Holder.

Skijoring - A unique experience for guests and their dogs to enjoy skiing together. With Gunstock Nordic Center's Skijoring Team of Educators guests can join in the fun of this popular, growing sport.

Uphill - Gunstock has joined Uphill New England! Uphill access for those who like to earn their turns is permitted only to those who purchase a valid Gunstock Uphill Trail Pass or Uphill New England Pass.
