Gunstock Mountain Resort Offers Asylum to Punxatawney Phil 

February 14, 2015  Gunstock Mountain Resort is currently enoying a great winter and is concerned about protecting the environment and wildlife.  Reacting to Merrimack’s warrant for the capture and arrest of Punxatawny Phil the caring community of Gunstock employees, “are offering asylum to Puxatawny Phil”.  The entire team is thrilled with the great snow conditions that Phil has predicted.  Gunstock would welcome Punxatawney Phil to it’s close to 2,000 acres of fun.  “We are concerned with the sensationalist attack on one of America’s true winter hero’s”, says a spokesperson for the entire Gunstock team.  Gunstock is prepared to work with the Belknap County Sherriff’s office to provide safe passage to our county owned winter playground.   Gunstock is also offering a municipal discount to the employees of Merrimack so that we can put a winter smile on their faces.   Spring will be here before you know it and it will be time to work on those goggle tans, but now it’s time to enjoy some of the best snow New Hampshire has seen in years!


Gunstock, located in Gilford New Hampshire, is one of the state’s largest recreation areas.
