Gunstock's revving its engine for Hillclimb

The 2025 Gunstock Hillclimb, a Laconia Motorcycle Week highlight, is shaping up to be another must-see event for Bike Week attendees. Thousands of spectators flock to Gunstock’s historic ski jumps to watch competitors in 15 classes attempt to drive dirt bikes and ATVs up the steep ski jump runout for fame and glory on Wednesday, June 18.

According to their website, New England Hillclimbers, a non-profit organization which holds amateur dirt bike and ATV hillclimb competitions throughout New England and New York, participant registration for the Gunstock event is closed (more than a month out from the competition) because they have reached their rider limit.

Every summer, crowds of attendees cheer as riders fight their way up the historic 70-meter Torger Tokle Memorial Ski Jump hill at Gunstock Mountain Resort. Some will make it, some will not, but it's one heck of a spectacle! In addition, event attendees can view a Bike Show presented by Deadbeat Customs and three Stunt Shows put on by the notorious Eastcoastin' Crew.

In addition to an assortment of food trucks and a retail tent selling snacks and beer, vendors selling all manner of biker must-haves will be set up as a marketplace.

Admission is $30 and free for children 10 and under. Gates open at 8 a.m. and the event runs from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Parking is free and there are some venue restrictions that can be viewed, along with additional details, in the event calendar listing.
