Wetlands Walk Workday

Sun, November 4

Fall is in full swing at the Wetlands Walk and hopefully the weather will be crisp on Sunday, November 4th for volunteers to help at the nature trail and wheelchair accessible boardwalk at Gunstock.

There is lots to do at the Wetlands Walk before the cold weather returns, and tasks range from simple ones to carpentry. We'll work from 1-4pm and then enjoy grilled hot dogs and warm apple cider. If you'd like to come help out and eat with us, please email Jan at WetlandsWalk@myfairpoint.net or call the Belknap County Conservation District office at 527-5880. Otherwise, you can show up to help or to take a look for less time.

Gunstock will be hosting the annual Gunstock Ski Club Ski & Snowboard Sale, so be sure to head to the Main Lodge beforehand or afterwards to upgrade your gear for Winter 2018-19!

Helpers under 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult. If you are interested in helping but can’t attend, please contact us to receive future announcements. All the volunteer time and the donations from local stores count as match towards the grant received from the New England Rivers and Forest Foundation for repairs and habitat improvement for trout, American woodcock and more.
