Winter

Reconnect with winter at Gunstock! Snow is the common denominator for all things fun: skiing, snowboarding, snowtubing, snowshoeing and Nordic skiing. And unlike most ski mountains, the fun doesn't stop when the sun goes down. Gunstock's lighted alpine trails extend slope-time into the evening hours with night sessions and tubing under the lights.

Located in the heart of New Hampshire’s Lakes Region, Gunstock Mountain Resort boasts some of the best views in New Hampshire. With spectauclar vistas overlooking Lake Winnipesaukee and beyond to the White Mountains, the most challenging part of skiing Gunstock is keeping your eyes on the trail instead of the view. On a clear day, Mount Washington, the Northeast's tallest summit, can be seen reigning over the Presidential Range in the distance.

When it's time to take a break between runs, Gunstock provides a variety of options. Premiering this winter, skiers and riders can step out of their bindings and into a full-service restaurant at Gunstock's Stockade Lodge. Grab a drink from the new bar and sit a while, inside or outdoors on the deck, by a double-sided fireplace. A classic New England treasure, Gunstock's Historic Lodge continues to offer grab-and-go dining with traditional ski lodge fare including homemade soups, fresh baked goods and locally prepared foods like sushi from Koung Sushi in Laconia. The newly expanded Panorama Pub at Gunstock's Summit Lodge is a skiers' favorite for hot cocoa with a view.
