Children’s Half-Day and All-Day Ski & Snowboard Programs

At Gunstock, we love teaching kids to ski and snowboard! Our Kids' Programs for ages 4–14 combine expert instruction, outdoor adventure, and plenty of fun. Kids build skills, gain confidence, make new friends, and enjoy an unforgettable day on the mountain—all in a safe, supportive environment.
Your young skiers and riders will learn through fun, age-appropriate instruction and mountain adventures. Friendly, qualified instructors help children explore skiing and riding at their own pace while building skills and confidence.
A typical full-day program includes approximately four hours of on-snow learning, with two hours in the morning and two hours in the afternoon. The half-day, morning program includes approximately two hours of on-snow instruction.
Program Details
- Ages: 4 to 14
- Programs: Full-day (4 hours on snow) or half-day morning (2 hours on snow)
- Lift Ticket: Included
- Rentals: Not included, purchased at time of booking, picked up at SnowSports Center when checking in.
- Helmet: Required; rental helmets available for an additional fee.
- Check-in: 8:45–9:15 a.m. inside the SnowSports Center, before 9am if you are renting equipment.
- On Snow: Children will start on snow between 9:45 and 10 a.m.
- Lunch: Included with full-day.
- Pick-Up: Full-day at 3 p.m. and half-day at noon.
- Parents must show photo ID.
Cost: $245 full-day | $200 half-day
Lunch and Snacks
Full-day programs include a hot lunch at the SnowSports Center:
- Friday: Pizza
- Saturday: Mac & Cheese
- Sunday: Pizza
During the day, children will be offered hot chocolate and snacks. Please let our staff know if your child has dietary restrictions. Parents are welcome to provide a bagged lunch.
Before You Arrive
Dress for a winter day outdoors: warm layers, snow pants, jacket, warm socks, gloves or mittens, and a hat. Hand warmers are a great idea on cold days!
There are no changing facilities in the SnowSports Center. All kids should be dressed and ready to go before they arrive.
If you are not renting equipment, your child should arrive with ski or snowboard boots on.
Set your child up for the best day possible. Please ensure that they’ve had a good breakfast and have gone to the bathroom prior to arrival.
What Is Your Child's Ability Level?
We group children by age and ability level. Our Ability Chart can help you choose the right program for your child. Knowing their ability level helps us group them with kids of similar skills so they can learn, progress, and have fun together.
Rental Equipment
All Children’s Program rental equipment must be returned to the SnowSports Center by 4 p.m. on the day of the lesson even if the child is in the program for multiple consecutive days.

Cancellation Policy
All Children's Programs are non-refundable.
• 72 hours or more before arrival: You may change or cancel your lesson by calling 603-737-4338 or emailing services@gunstock.com.
• A $29 processing fee applies to cancellations. The remaining value will be issued as a non-expiring Gunstock gift card, or Mountain Money.
• Your reservation is not considered canceled until you receive confirmation from Gunstock SnowSports Reservations.
• Less than 72 hours before your lesson: No credit or rescheduling is available.
