The Gunstock Nordic Center - Closed for the season.
The Gunstock Nordic Center is the resort's cross-country skiing hub located on the right-hand side of the resort access road. The Nordic Center is where skiers can purchase trail passes for the day, rent or purchase equipment, and buy accessories and necessities for a day in the outdoors. If you're new to cross-country skiing, Gunstock's friendly and helpful staff will guide you and answer any questions you may have. Nordic skiing is an ideal introduction to winter sports. Interested in learning how to enjoy this wonderful sport? Gunstock's professional instructors will get you gliding in no time. For an easier exploration of the winter landscape, try snowshoeing. Experienced, world-class instructors will help you every step of the way. Gunstock's cross-country trail network consists of 27 km of trails groomed for classic and skate skiing. There are also dedicated snowshoeing-only trails.

Cancellation Policy:
All Trail Pass, Rental, Lesson, and Snowshoe Tour Sales are Final and Non-Refundable
- 72 hours prior to your arrival date, you may change or cancel your reservation. Please call 603-737-4388, or email services@gunstock.com.
- If making a cancellation, a $5 processing fee will be applied, with the remaining value put onto a Gunstock Mountain Resort non-expiring gift card or Mountain Money.
- Please note that your reservation is not considered canceled until you have verification from Gunstock reservation staff.
- Email and call volume may be high so please be patient and we will get back to you as soon as possible. Your call or email will be date stamped to assure us of the timeframe in which you contacted us to cancel.
- Cancelations made less than 72 hours prior to arrival date: No credit or rescheduling.
While natural snow allows us to provide skiers with the greatest amount and widest variety of terrain, Gunstock has the ability to make supplemental snow for its Nordic trail network as well. Check trail status and conditions posted each day here:
We are dedicated to finding actvities that will get you and your crew out this winter. New to Nordic snowsports? Our staff is experienced in skate skiing and classic style cross country skiing instruction, and even skijoring! And it is their passion to teach folks how to enjoy the winter landscape in a new way!
The Gunstock Nordic Center staff loves to get our guests outside and enjoying winter activities - with skis or snowshoes. Skijoring
Discover this winter sport for Nordic skiers who want to team up with their canine companion(s) for a fun winter adventure. The term comes from the Norwegian word for "ski driving." The sport has a long history, originating from Scandinavian cultures that used reindeer. Skijoring at Gunstock connects a skier and dog through harnesses and a lead, so the skier is pulled along while the dog runs ahead. Skijoring can range from recreational fun to competitive events, and arrived in North America around 1914. In addition to dog-friendly trails, Gunstock offers skijoring instruction for skier/dog teams who would like to give it a try.
