GILFORD, N.H. — Belknap County Days are returning to Gunstock Mountain Resort this summer. On the third Sunday of each month, June through October, Gunstock welcomes residents of Belknap County to visit the resort and enjoy a complimentary ride on its 4,000-foot-long mountain coaster and/or a round-trip ride to the summit of Gunstock Mountain aboard the Panorama four-passenger chairlift. The dates of the 2023 Belknap County Days are June 18, July 16, August 20, September 17 and October 15.
“We are so thankful for the warm welcome our community extends to our guests, and this is just one way we are able to show our gratitude,” said Gunstock Mountain Resort President and General Manager Tom Day. “Belknap County Days are a tradition that we continue each summer. And last year we started a new winter tradition of offering discounted full-day lift tickets on select days throughout the ski season – Sunday through Friday, excluding some premium holiday period dates – for residents of Belknap County. It’s our way of giving something back to our neighbors for their loyalty and support.”
To make use of Gunstock’s Belknap County Days, residents of Belknap County must stop by Gunstock’s Ticket Office the day of intended use and provide a valid driver’s license or a N.H. Non-Driver ID Card showing a Belknap County address as proof of residence. No other form of identification will be accepted.
Gunstock’s Adventure Park operates 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on weekends-only through June 28, then operates 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Sunday until early September. Hours revert to weekends-only September 4 through October 29.
In addition to an Adventure Park that comprises scenic chairlift rides, a mountain coaster, zipline tours and arial treetop obstacle courses, Gunstock Mountain Resort's campground places guests in the heart of New Hampshire's Lakes Region, close to the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee and situated at the foot of the Belknap Mountains. Wooded and open field sites with fire rings and picnic tables serve as home base for guests who enjoy overnight accommodations in a natural setting with easy access to amenities: a camp store, swimming pool, dog park, bath houses, hiking and biking trails, a fishing pond, and Gunstock’s Adventure Park. Gunstock campers receive a discount on Adventure Park activities during their stay.
When searching for refreshments, a snack or a meal during their visit, guests can select The Patio, Gunstock’s scenic outdoor full-service restaurant or The Snack Shack for quick grab-and-go options.
